Everything! By far the best place I've stayed on my trip. The place is a stunning 124 year old home made of wood, I'm a carpenter myself and was really loving the attention to detail those craftsmen used. Aji is so kind and friendly, he came to meet me when I couldn't find the place, and brought me a lovely breakfast in the morning. I would live there if I could!

Vanilla County in the Vagamon Hills – what a beautiful place to spend your holidays with your family or friends. It is not only the sheer beauty of this place but especially the friendliness and warmhearted kindness of its owners Silu and Mathew and each and very one of their wonderful team. We felt so very well looked after, whenever we had questions concerning the surroundings and the Vagamon Hills, Silu would be there to give us valuable tips and suggestions for day trips and sightseeing. We loved the Kerala food you get at Vanilla County cooked by Ranju and Jolly which was served by Maju, Anand, George and Anthony - always with a friendly smile. The rooms are spacious and tastefully decorated. The house and the garden are very clean and very well looked after by Aniamma and Sheena. Everywhere in and around Vanilla County, you feel that things are done and chosen with a lot of love, taste and care. The wonderful memories of Vanilla County and its people will stay with us for a very long time and will make us smile. We strongly recommend Vanilla County if you want to relax in a beautiful place with very special, warmhearted people.

One of the best homestay i've visited! A perfect place to relax. Location is very beautiful and close to nature. The place is very well maintained. Shanta Kochamma,the hostess and Renju, the manager were extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. They treat you likr family, and make this a true "Home"stay! Home cooked food was yummy. Room and bathroom were spacious and spotlessly clean. There was a small library just outside the room which had a nice collection of books. I would highly recommend this place and I would definitely want to come back to this place again. Thank you Aunty and Renju for being a wonderful host!

Family are so lovely. Ajith (son) was so helpful making suggestions, checking in, helping to arrange all the various things I wanted to do. Such thoughtful people, caring. Dad was lovely and mama is adorable making lovely meals and I wanted to go to town and she offered to take me with her. Really peaceful place. You will pinch yourself that your living right on the backwaters of Gods Country - kerala. The locals are very sweet. Bare in mind access to any western food is limited, howver enjoy the kerala cuisine for your time. Kottoyam is a short trip. Do yourself a favour and visit KutticKattil homestay or private houses on same property.
