The owner hospitality was amazing, arriving at night to a warm cup of tea and coffee, continued with her willing to give us free laundry service, greate breakfast and preparing us lunch boxes for the upcoming day. In short, one of the best places we have stayed at in Iceland.

The guesthouse was very confortable, spacious, clean and well-decorated. The kitchenette had all the utilities we needed. The electric stove was stored on a drawer under the sink. But the best thing was the sympathy our hosts showed us. We were supposed to stay for 2 nights, but unfortunately were caught up in the middle of a snow storm, so they refound us for the first night we couldn't get there and stayed in contact with us throughout those days, indicating us the best way to arrive on the guesthouse since most roads leading there were closed or slippery.

Very big and super clean room with everything you need, the breakfast is excellent and provides an opportunity to try some local products, sweet ginger bread is especially tasty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Location is close enough to the lake and you can also reach Húsavík quite fast. We got much more than expected!
