The villa was spacious, well equipped and was well located for both the horse farm and wider attractions. The under floor heating and boiler room were invaluable for drying our wet clothes. The riding and staff at the barn were fantastic, friendly and professional.

Great location, beautiful scenery and a very spacious cottage. The hot tub was the icing on the cake especially watching the aurora whilst sat in it 🫶🏼 the cottage was lovely and clean and had everything you could possibly need (dishwasher was a great bonus) we can’t wait to go back and will be recommending to all our friends and family. The property is I believe in an ideal location for the traveller who wants to do his own thing. Very well placed for drives out to geysirm, gullfoss and drives out to popular northern light hotspots Property is clean, very well priced in my opinion considering Iceland prices. Wifi was great. Bed comfy. The kitchen well equipped.

The location was remote and absolutely beautiful with stunning views of the mountains. There were horses in the pasture, sheep greeted us on the drive in and a mama bird was nesting on her eggs along the gravel road to the property. The neighbors had posted a stake in the ground to announce her presence and protect her from traffic. All this peace, yet we were very close to the main road and less than 5 minutes to the town of Hella where we picked up groceries and went out to dinner. Svetlana and her husband are absolutely lovely people. She had a Ukrainian speciality waiting for us on the table in the kitchen when we arrived, a plateful of the most delicious treats- like a cross between an American pancake and love. She offered to show us how to make this on the morning we checked out, bringing us into her kitchen and sending us on our way with a plateful of warm goodies and great stories we will remember. Her husband was equally charming and we would love to have talked to both of them for days. If you love dogs, be sure to ask to meet Stella. She's a good girl!
