Enjoyed our stay in this authentic home. The host was very welcoming. He prepared a traditional homemade soup with bread for dinner which was perfect after a long day of flying and driving from KEF. The traditional breakfast was also plentiful and very good. High recommend.

This is a beautiful cottage. Very spacious and has all the amenities needed for a great stay. Unfortunately, due to the weather the hot tub was not used but it was ready and available for us. The lounge space was really nice to relax in, my only disappointment is only staying one night in this gorgeous place.

A wonderful place to stay and a brilliantly executed conversion. This was our most memorable accommodation in Iceland. The top floor living room / kitchen has amazing 360 degree views. Warm and clean, with comfortable beds. There are a lot of stairs to go up and down but it is well worth the effort.

Grímsstaðir holiday home - Family friendly is a recently renovated villa in Reykholt, where guests can make the most of its garden and barbecue facilities.

Very nice place to stay in the west of Iceland. Quiet, spacious house, tidy, modern. The outside area is fenced it offers a nice little playground.

Fantastic house! Lovely view down to the distant steaming river. Fabulous hot tub outside. Very comfortable beds and furniture, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms. Very kind, friendly and helpful host who lives in a house on the same site (with a very friendly and fluffy dog). Will definitely stay again.
