Holiday Rentals in Varmaland

An awesome place to stay without noise and lights. Warm and comfortable. When we arrive could not find the cabin because the snow had covered the signal, but a kind woman help us showing the track. If there is snow don’t park close to the cabins without a 4wd vehicle.

Good location. The cabin had everything we needed for a short stay. Great view on horses and sheep from our window. We could pet the horses which was amazing.

Fantastic house, very comfortable, fully equipped, with lots of groceries in the kitchen. Large hot tub on the terrace. Beautiful lava field around the house.

EVERYTHING!! WE LOVE THE HOUSE SO MUCH. We all said that we would come back if we get to go back to Iceland!

The rooms were very clean and we had a very nice view from the room. The hosts were nice and accomodating. Parking was not a problem. The guesthouse also offers breakfast and a restaurant. Great stay overall!

A very nice cottage “in the middle of nowhere”. We booked it for 3 nights as our final destination in Iceland and it was a very good decision. It is amazing waking up in the morning, opening the doors and hearing nothing but the sheep and the birds. From here You can reach Borgarnes and Akranes pretty fast and go for lunch or dinner or just a quick sightseeing of those places. Pro tip: in Akranes you can visit the Gudlaug bath and have a nice dip in the warm pool and after that, cool off in the ocean. Just 2 km away is the public pool where you can go and enjoy your time swimming in the 25m long 35°C pool or just relax in one of the hot tubs which is heated by the hot spring nearby. The cottage looks small from the outside but on the inside it is amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need. It even offered drinking chocolate, noodles, salt, pepper, other spices and things. The bed is very nice, there is a cupboard with drawers for the clothes. Outside, enough parking space is available and even a charging station is available. Also, worth a mention, this cottage offers one of the fastest internet connections we encountered in Iceland with a fiber connection and speeds of about 250Mbps for up- and download. If the weather is nice, you can sit outside, enjoy the view and silence. 2 times we had the farmers friendly dog visit us for some belly rubs and to make our day. On the last day we met the farmer who rents out these cottages and he was very nice and warm person. We can highly recommend a stay here especially if You’re looking for a place to chill and relax.

The host were so nice like we had a feeling we are their friends on the visit. Such a lovely atmosphere and place. Propos to the breakfast. Shared spaces are very well equipped. Beds very cozy.

Great location and facilities for a family group. We cooked a lovely meal and watched a movie together. Bedrooms were clean and comfortable. Highly recommended

Fantastic house! Lovely view down to the distant steaming river. Fabulous hot tub outside. Very comfortable beds and furniture, well-equipped kitchen, nice bathrooms. Very kind, friendly and helpful host who lives in a house on the same site (with a very friendly and fluffy dog). Will definitely stay again.
