Salina is a magical island. We were glad we booked our stay here because the location was ideal, close to all the restaurants and a perfect starting point for exploring the island. The receptionist was welcoming and offered excellent tips on what to see and do. Our room was spacious, had a lovely little terrace, and breakfast was great. Overall, a wonderful stay in a beautiful place.

Great location between the town and the beach. The staff were lovely and we were very comfortable in our room. There was plenty of space to sit outside but it was a bit hot for that while we were there!

The position of this property is fantastic for a great stay in Malfa. It is very close to the beach, there is a bus stop in front of the property and the main street is a short walk away. The apartment has lovely bedrooms and spacious living and kitchen area downstairs. The views from the verandah and garden are very special. It is great valuable for money.     We had a really wonderful 3-day stay at Il Gelso Vacanze, located in Malfa. It was close to the heart of the village, and also a short walk down some very interesting and safe laneways, past ripe figs, to the local beach (Spiaggia dello Scario (you have to visit!). Giafranco was super helpful, made great breakfasts on the deck, and gave us lots of tips for things to do and see. We couldnt fault our stay.

    Location was perfect! It is a realm of peace! Perfectly located behind San Lorenzo’s church and a stone throw from the bus stop. A very cosy and home like apartment. Matteo and his mum Lucia are very friendly and warm people, always keen to help and never losing their smile! Bonus for us was the orchestra playing in the villa opposite us. Malfa is the perfect place to stay in Salina, right in the epicentre and close to everything. The view from the terrace is absolutely spectacular! Gracias! Look no further, stay here!!

    Very classy facilities inside (bathroom!), very quiet. But also only 4 minutes away from a little village center and cozy restaurants. Visiting different spots works well with public transport.

    I like everything about this place. It’s beautiful, pristine, perfect location, warm, friendly genuine hosts. From the room, terrace and garden to the amenities ( high quality bath products and teas) you would never know that you are a few steps from the Main Street. It’s so quiet and peaceful. You feel like you’re in your own private villa in Salina. This is my visits trip to this island and this is my place from now on.
