What a helpful and friendly family that owns the B&B! We enjoyed feeling as if in a home from home. Local food, such as eggs and cheese, were served at breakfast. We had use of the kettle in the kitchen whenever needed. The room was warm and comfortable with breathtaking views over the mountains and valleys. The external bathroom was no hardship as this was exclusively for our use. Three nights was exactly the right duration to experience this close community of 700 people. Wherever we went we felt welcome. The walk up Mount Linzone is something we shall never forget. Like a scene from Narnia, with flowers such as primroses in the lower slopes and hoarfrost on trees higher up. The summit was lost in cloud and coated with snow Nor will I forget using my rudimentary Italian with the matriarch of the family, who like her daughter, made this a unique experience. Roncola is off the beaten track and well worth a visit. Enjoy!

A newly renovated and modernised guesthouse, next to the church, with big warm comfortable rooms. Central heating. Big shared kitchen. Everything spotlessly clean. Excellent location for exploring the foothills of the Bergamasque Prealps. I stayed there overnight coming from Bergamo and continuing to Lecco and Como. Very quiet and peaceful in the winter.

This is the best place we have ever stayed at in our 35 years of global travel, Christina was an absolute fantastic host we highly recommend this beautiful B&B to anyone who is looking for beautiful Italian charm from a forgotten era, Christina has done a remarkable job with this place and I have to mention the breakfast was outstanding especially her home made Berry Crostata tart.     Everything was perfect! This villa offers amazing views of the valley and being in the middle of the mountains the only sounds that you hear are the birds singing and the bells of the old village church - marvelous feeling! Our room was very clean, had a comfortable bed and the breakfast was delicious. The host is carefully taking care of everything, we even forgot our phone charger and she offers to help us get it back! Lovely lady!
