Only an hour from the centre of Palermo or the historic village of Erice and the archaeological site at Segesta to mention only a few of the wonderful places to visit in the north west of Sicily. There's a lovely balcony with sea views and a cool breeze on hot days, and a rooftop terrace to watch the spectacular sunsets. There's also plenty of shade and space for outdoor dining. The pool was amazing to cool off in and our kids spent most of the week in it! The villa is well stocked with everything we needed and only a short walk from the shops and restaurants in Trappeto.
