Great location, super friendly and helpful staff, amazing city and region in general ! Highly recommended for travelers around Shikoku, this is a great spot to stay and organize day trips in the Iya area. If you stay there, make sure to try the restaurant / cafe Heso Salon as well ! Very convenient location, close to Oboke. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the room was spotless, equipped with everything we needed (even a power strip!). A great choice for those who want to experience sleeping on futons. Excellent value for money — both breakfast and dinner were included, and the dinners were beautifully prepared and varied each day. The onsen was also very enjoyable and spacious. Overall, a truly pleasant and relaxing stay.

Amazing rooms and location. The kayaking is alot of fun and I definitely recommend you doing it. The views of the neighbourhood is breath taking. There are some restaurants and shops nearby.

Our stay at Asan Kotonami was nothing short of extraordinary! Spending one night in this traditional ryokan was an unforgettable experience. Everything about the stay was perfect, from the serene ambiance to the impeccable service. The highlight of my visit was undoubtedly the food. The traditional 10-course meals provided a cultural experience unlike any other. Each dish was not only delicious but also beautifully presented, making it a feast for both the palate and the eyes. It was a culinary journey that left me wishing I had booked at least two nights so I could indulge in these amazing meals again and again. What impressed me even more was the accommodation's accommodation of our gluten-intolerant guest. Next time I visit, I'll definitely plan for a longer stay at Asan Kotonami. This place is a gem that offers an authentic and immersive experience into Japanese culture and hospitality. Highly recommended for anyone looking to create lasting memories during their stay in Japan.
