I loved my experience there. The guesthouse and Rooms are very clean, with a really nice design. The overall atmosphere of the place is amazing. The Rooms had everything that I needed, very good amenities in the place. There is a beautiful chill area with a hammock that is perfect for reading. Neighbourhood is nice, not gentrified compared to other places on the island. Amazing host that helps with everything and gives recommendations.

Perfect stay. Great use of space, making it easy to relax on your own or connect with other travellers. I stayed in a dorm, facilities are simple but adequate, mosquito net is provided. The bar uses quiet music, if any at all, so that the surroundings can really take the first spot it deserves. Appreciated the possibility to pay with card.

We absolutely loved our time on koh rong sanloem and at Sam’s guesthouse. She was absolutely amazing and helped us with anything we needed. She gave us loads of information about the island, recommended places which were good to eat and any events that were happening and she was always up for a chat. We wanted to stay an extra night as we loved it and she happily accommodated us at a discounted price which was fab! The room was lovely, and perfect for what we needed for a few nights. The rooms do get quite hot obviously but there is a fan. It’s in such a good location too, a couple minute walk to the beach and lots of bars and restaurants around. If you’re thinking of staying on koh rong sanloem I would highly recommend here! The island does experience some power cuts but they didn’t last long at all and weren’t an inconvenience for us, but it’s not any of the hotel/guesthouses fault so don’t blame them for it.

We’ve had a really good stay at Sok Mean Bunaglows. Originally we booked for 2 nights but extended two extra nights. The owner So Pheak is really helpful and friendly. He’s doing his absolute best to make you feel comfortable and is still very busy to make his guesthouse a nice and cosy place. So does his compagnon (volunteer) Marco! We’ve spend some nice evenings together. You also get two extra big towels you can use for the beach:) Also the food we highly recommend. Especially the Amok Curry, also available with just veggies for the vegetarian people:) the bungalow we stayed in was just enough for the price you pay. A good musqito net is all you need on the island after all. Most of the days you’ll spend on the beach anyway! We might come back one day!🌞 thanks for everything! Grts Twan & Evelien

Everything has been perfect! Simon is a great host, very thoughtful and available for any doubt. The guesthouse is in a very quiet and peaceful place. The rooms are cl3an, well equipped and spacious. There's a water boiler in every room and the instant coffee/tea and drinking water are always available for free. There's a garden well maintained with hammocks to chill and the company of a few cats and chickens. The island is a paradise itself but staying at baloo makes it even more enjoyable.

Cozy one bungalow on first line. Simple, but effective, have everything - 18L drinking water, hot water, fan, veranda, mosquito net and kettle. Love this place, but at evening I prefer more light in room, but current light makes evening more romantic.

The location is perfect, almost at the end of the beach, so there is not much movement of people. The common areas were nice, peaceful, and a great place to meet new people. We loved joining the "family dinner" and the free yoga class. The staff was super nice and helpful.

The owners are so lovely. He was helpful with our luggage and booking boat transportation. They gave great advice on locations for snorkelling & watching sunset. She makes amazing food in the restaurant at the property, it turned out to be our favourite food place in the village. The room was comfortable and clean. We had a great stay and would definitely return.
