One of the cleanest and most comfortable places we stayed during our travels around Sri Lanka. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. The room was spacious with comfortable bed. Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also appreciated having access to the kitchen fridge and the reliable Wi-Fi. Jaffna turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our trip — such a hidden gem! Highly recommended!

Absulutely recommended for Jaffna! The Building Is clearly new and It Is well kept, clean rooms, perfect bathrooms and clean beds! The little garden had even a couple of fruit trees like papaya or bananas. Everyone is extremily kind and welcoming. Even though some may speak little to no english, they still try to comunicate with the little world they know and a super kind smile. When we came back the first night from the dinner, we had a little chat with the night keeper, he was extremily nice. He even got us a papaya to eat in the morning. Soo kind! The place is super close to the centre, less than 5 mins by tuk tuk, which you can order yourself on the app Pickme or they will order it for you. If the speaking english guy is not present, he is always reachable by phone for any useful information, even to suggest some really nice restaurants. He would even come back anytime needed. Moreover, by mistake we forgor to pay, and the person responsible was so kind to come to the bus station instead of making us go back. Super nice and extremily helpful. Lastly, to have breakfast on top of the building is really nice. The terrace ha a nice view of the sourranding. Highly reccomend it to anyone visiting Jaffna!!

We loved our stay at Abi Holiday Home. It was wonderful to have a house to relax in. There was ac and fans in every room. Anything we needed was provided for us by the hosts. Their office is across the way so they were always on hand. They provided 5 bikes for us to cycle around the town which was greatly appreciated. The breakfasts were plentiful and delicious. Would highly recommend staying here while staying in Jaffna!

Hello Ladies and Gentleman, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Berty's Cottage as a solo traveler, and I must say, I felt incredibly comfortable throughout my whole visit in Jaffna. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a lovely young couple who offered me a delicious cup of tea, which was a delightful touch. Even the process of paying was feeling featherlight. During my stay, I was quite busy with various activities, but I always looked forward to returning to my room in the evenings. The beds + blankets were exceptionally comfortable, and the air conditioning made for a perfect sleeping environment. I slept very well each night! The hosts were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience. They prepared a fantastic breakfast for me each morning, and even woke up early to accommodate my early check-out request. Their hospitality truly made a difference. I really can recommend Berty's Cottage to anyone looking for a cozy and family-like atmosphere. If you’re seeking a welcoming place to stay, this is definitely the travel - spot for you!     This was a brilliant homestay hosted by Allan. He was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and helped us with our coach booking home and places of interest including the brilliant service at the local temple. I cannot seak to highly of this experience. Your are completely at home here in wonderful JAFFNA
