The sister here looked after me really well, always making sure I had enough cold water (they refill and stock bottles in the fridge) and accompanying me to the bus stop the morning I left. She doesn't speak English (nor do I speak Nepali) but her friend can help with communication if required. The homestay is only 5-10 minutes' walk from the bus stop and the main street. The room and bathroom were clean and comfortable and it was quiet, being in a more spacious area with sparse buildings. Not all rooms have air conditioning, so if you need it, check when booking or upgrade your room.

Lovely people at Kanthak Hotel. Very clean room ; white beddings, no stain. White walls. Hot shower with great debit. I had a room with balcony and park view, lots of natural light. Also I could choose the colors of the little lights of the room !! Such a cozy vibe room, with great attention to details. The hotel is a bit out of the village (5min walk) so this is the countryside and you can hear nature sounds. The food was very good also... And I was really amazed by Lumbini. This park in the jungle is magnificent, with 30+ beautiful temples, and also a nature reserve with rare birds (next to Word Peace Pagoda). I felt so in Peace that I extended one week. I left feeling recharged. I think I will be back. Thank you 🙏✨ Charlotte

It was the best. Room was perfect, really confy and clean. Food was wonderful. Nice staffs. Location right near the buddha temple. I can say that this is the best hotel you can choose in lumbini.

Felt very welcome by the owner and the staff. My friend and I had another hotel cancel our reservation the night before leaving for Lumbini, but was able to book a room and get the needed accommodation through solely communicating over the phone with the owner. At the end of our stay, the staff helped us book a bus to our next direction which was very helpful and relieved stress of having one more item on our plate. Overall great stay and would go back.

It was my unforgettable experience starting in this hotel . Services were wonderful . The Manager did send a transport to pick me from the bus station free of cost ! Mithun Sherestha the Manager of the hotel helped me in every respects whatever and whenever I deserved any service from the hotel ! overall it was a great experience !
