The overall experience in the dessert was a one in a lifetime experience. Ali and his family were very warm and welcome. They explained to us about the life of the Bedouin and we had an insightful discussion about the Omani culture. The place is super serene, magical full of stars in the evening. The food was great and delicious including the breakfast as well. Ali is a great host and we would come back and visit again for sure.

Very nice accommodation in the desert, which is a great departure from the classic hotel accommodation. If you have the nature to do without the usual hotel room environment, you will be thrilled. The sunrise and sunset are beautiful.

Perfect peaceful location with no mobile signal, electricity and noise. Everything was well organized and the host was super friendly and helpful. This is the best place to stay compared to other bigger resorts where there are a lot of lights and other guests. We were there with a 2-year daughter and we enjoyed every second of our stay.

The camp was just right. Comfy tents and beds (on platforms), good food. Most importantly, it was quiet: far enough from other camps and city, only four tents in camp I think. So the desert night was quiet and perfect for star-gazing. This alone deserves their high reviews. But on top of that, Mr. Ali and his staff saved me with car trouble. Somehow, I lost my rental car keys... They helped me look everywhere. I was kicking myself and preparing myself for a delay of one or two days. But Mr. Ali located a car mechanic, and the mechanic made a new key (!) for a very reasonable price. I was back on the road in 90 minutes.

The service was exceptional, and everything exceeded our expectations. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding—delicious in every way. We enjoyed a wonderful picnic during breakfast, which was truly memorable. The night sky was breathtaking, and we had a fantastic time sandboarding on the dunes. Our kids had a blast playing in the sand and trying out sandboarding themselves. Sultan was amazing—he and Benjamin were so friendly and helpful, keeping our kids entertained during the sandboarding. The tent was charming and comfortable, though the separate outdoor toilet was not an issue for us. We also went on a safari game drive to spot camels and sheep with one of the staff (we forgot his name), and the drive through the desert was beautiful. He was very kind to take some photos and videos for us. The pickup from the car to the camp was a fantastic experience as well. Overall, the whole experience was superb!!

    Felt like home due to Rashids warm hospitality. It is a unique experience here, food was perfect, we had nice chats and excellent Omani coffee with our habibi. We went with Rashid to a beduin camp, where we got a ride on a camel and a glance on the village and the way they live. Thanks a lot habibi and see you hopefully again !

    Everything was just perfect! The owner is incredibely courteous and funny. Food delicious, additional entertainments above my expectations. There is pick up from the nearest village available so you don't need to have 4W car. 11/10 I deeply recommend this place!

    Great dessert experience, very kind people. Very tasty and generous dinner. Camp is relatively small which guarantees nice atmosphere. Camp offers pick up from the close village and many activities.

    Perfect location deep in the dunes! Private camp only five tents, not a huge desert hotel like other „camps”. Food made by Bashir was very tasty. Owner recommended us a private jeep trip, we saw many camels, wells, beduin village and a mosque in the heart od the desert.

    The location is ideal because it's not too far in the desert, so the transfer is short, but you still feel like you're in a remote part, and the dunes are beautiful. The children had the time of their life sliding in the dunes over and over, and the food (takeaway from a nearby village was pretty good considering there's nothing to cook there).
