Very well equipped and clean one bedroom villa with beautiful garden and small pool on the outskirts of Bahla. A lot of personal touches that made us feel at home while we were here. The host was very friendly and helpful in providing useful local information. Access to the Villa was very straight forward.

Perfect accomodation in the heart of Bahla with the most helpful and kind host we have met in Oman. This hotel is located on strategic place - if you want to visit various tourist attractions nearby (Hoota cave, Balcony Walk, Bahla). Great receptionist, large apartment with comfy beds, washing machine was a big plus as we got dirty clothes after our walks.

The warm hospitality here was excellent! We had a very comfortable two-day stay. Lovely views from the rooftop, where it’s set up for enjoying the surrounds with tables/chairs. Easy parking; walking distance to the ruins of the old village, the museum and the wadi/palm grove. Great aircon and wifi. Highly recommended!

After a sudden change of plans, I chose the 228Hostel to stay for a couple of nights, mainly to do the Jabal Shams Balcony Walk. I honestly didn't expect to enjoy this stay so much! Mahmoud and Marita are amazing hosts, they were helpful and fun to talk to. They organized a nice dinner along with other guests staying one night. It is very refreshing to hear the stories and experiences from all of them. The views from the room and the rooftop are amazing. I highly recommend!
