Everything about this house is interesting to me. Excellent facilities, environment, and modern design. You will reside in a house next to a sizable park where you may enjoy watching your children play on the playground. The communication with the property owners was smooth via email, and the owner's son speaks very good English while the dad recommends and finds things out for you. We didn't try the breakfast there but Bolu has lots to offer in terms of restaurants - try the local manti. There are also great hamams (Turkish baths) for men and women separately, cheaper than in Istanbul. We travelled from Göreme to Bolu by night bus and we were very lucky to be allowed to stay in our room before the official check in time - the owners pride themselves in being a family business, safe, flexible and comfortable - and it's true. The room was very spacious, had very good central heating, and it contained everything we needed. Thank you for service and kindness!

We had a great experience and were warmly welcomed by the staff, even though we arrived late. The B&B is located in a quiet and cool area surrounded by trees. Parking is conveniently close to the property. The room was very nice and clean, with wooden interiors that perfectly reflect the mountain atmosphere (the only minor downside was the bathroom, which was a bit small, but still standard). What really impressed us was the breakfast – we’ve never had one so delicious and varied, with fresh, high-quality products. We absolutely loved the locally made caramel cream, as well as the various jams and types of honey. The breakfast room is spacious and full of character, with a beautiful view of the woods, and breakfast is served at the table. Excellent value for money. The accommodation was simply perfect for us. We arrived in the evening and were warmly welcomed. Our hosts were really kind, for extra cost we could also have a delicious dinner. The room was clean and big enough for the two us, and we also loved the small balcony. In the front, there's a garden to relax and behind the house there is pure nature itself: a small meadow leading to a stream that borders the forest. During our stay, we often walked down there. Finally, it would be an understatement to say that breakfast was amazing. It was really like a dream, a real, proper Turkish breakfast with many types of cheese, olives, jam etc. If someone is visiting the area, I would definitely recommend to stay at Abant Zümrüt Dağ Evi, it represents Turkish hospitality at its finest. We would love to return there again.
