By far the nicest accommodation we stayed in during our trip to Taiwan. The historical house in a beautiful part of Daxi has been lovingly and thoughtfully modernised by the hosts. Wonderfully comfortable in every way. The lovely lady who hosts the home stay is extremely kind and generous. She made sure we had everything we needed and is full of great tips and information about Daxi. Daxi itself is definitely worth a visit - it’s an architecturally beautiful and fascinating place to wander.

This place is truly exceptional: Combines a beautiful view over the mountains, lake and distant ocean with a distinct NZ or UK-feeling of design, a nice romantic Hobbit-garden - and sounds of Nature all around.
