I'm a low budget traveler. I always arrive very late at night and at that hour I usually have to wait outside the hotel, sometimes for 15 minutes, for someone to let me in. Hotels that offer kitchens don't save me any money because they don't include pots, plans, plates, etc. I've stayed at a different hotel each time I visit Jacksonville because I never found one I liked for less than $100. But last night I found a place that I'll keep coming back to. Much better than a hotel, and cheaper, it's a guest house with 4 or 5 rooms and lots of USABLE shared areas - a FURNISHED kitchen, dining room, fireplace, fenced yard, outdoor grills. And Roosevelt has obviously put a lot of thought into what his guests need. Naturally a TV, minifridge and microwave are included. My room also came with a tooth brush and paste (which I always forget to bring) and a bathrobe (so you don't have to worry about how you're dressed when going to use the shared bathroom), The mattress was very comfortable. And the curtains were thick blackout blinds that completely filled the window frame, so that I wasn't awakened by the morning light. Access to the front door and room doors is all electronic, so I was able to let myself in when I arrived at 2 am, using the code that Roosevelt provided when I informed him that I would be arriving late. I think Roosevelt is well on his way to achieving his goal: "provide the best guest house in Jacksonville ".

The location, peaceful, neighbors were really nice. One neighbor stop by just to hold my daughter on her walk in the neighborhood. We enjoyed our stay and plan to reserve again when we come back to visit. We came from Alabama for my uncle wedding in St. Augustine. Great, great, great hospitality. Communication was great from the host. I love this place... Thanks for everything from my family....

Very beautiful home , my family enjoyed it. This was our first time booking a home instead of hotel and it was a 10/10 great experiences the host was very accommodating to our needs with quick response. Great for children even had outside toys, board games , and playpen/mattress so my infant was able to enjoy free time in a safe environment. We will definitely be booking again when we come to visit Jacksonville.

The location, cleanliness, and response from Tina were all amazing. The communication between her and us was exceptional and speedy. The unit was beautiful and very modern. Having the use of the garage for our car was a plus. very quiet neighborhood. The beds were very comfortable. Having linens provided also a plus. I would lease from Tina again at this property or any others she may have. loves our stay!!
