Boasting family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. The views of the room were fantastic. The location was great, with the beach only a 5 minute walk away. It is also near the heart of broadbeach where one can find food and supermarkets. The unit was well-furnished, and well-maintained. Staff were very much accommodating.

These 4.5-star apartments offer absolute waterfront, luxury apartments just a 1-minute stroll away from Cairns Waterfront Marina. Guests at Cairns Private Apartments enjoy an outdoor swimming pool, a spa pool, a sauna and a fitness centre. Everything was perfect. We checked in after office hours and the paperwork and keys were left in a dropbox for us. Clear instructions were given. When we arrived, there was a welcome pack of essentials to make things easy. The apartment is superbly situated next to the wharves and a couple of minutes from the centre. It is really well equipped, lots of space, clean and comfortable. The staff at the agency were brilliant. Friendly and relaxed, gave great advice, an absolute pleasure to deal with. We thoroughly recommend staying here.

The 4-star By The Sea Resort is located in the centre of Port Douglas, next to Four Mile Beach and just a 2-minute walk from the restaurants along Macrossan Street. All apartments come with full kitchen facilities and many also have sea views.

Free bikes are provided for guests to explore both the beach and village. When heading to the beach, the resort provides complimentary towels, umbrellas, ice boxes and chairs. The hotel is not the biggest one but it has a lot more than expected of services provided such as board games, books, dvd, ice box, pram, trolley, bicycles. They also have a private bbq in the room balcony.

We enjoyed the pool area and proximity to the beach. We were given a warm welcome and good recommendations for food in the local area.
