Take a trip on a Sunday morning to one of the local churches to listen to the harmonious Polynesian Choirs, it's incredible. Perfect sea in every possible shade of blue, soft white sand beaches and amongst some of the most amazing dive sites on planet earth. Napoleon Wrasse, Eagle Rays and Hawksbill Turtles, The reef system will stay etched in my mind forever. Perfect for solo travellers wanting to meet like minded people and wishing to get away from the more touristy side of the Pacific, Aitutaki Budget Accommodation is the only place to go! Stayed 2 weeks in January. Across the street and 1/2 block from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world. This place is a real find. Well constructed, modern and super clean. Covered porch with comfy chairs and a dining table. Perfectly appointed studio cabin with a well equipped full kitchen. A/C. Screened windows. Queen size bed. The back covered porch has a full size washer and clothes line. A real plus for Aitutaki is the strong free wifi. Your delightful host, Kura, will pick you up at the airport and take you to the grocery store if you need it. You can walk to the main small town but renting a scooter or car will let you explore this stunning island. Highly recommended.

Their bungalows and their treatment deserves a 12/10. Keep up the good work you two. If we ever come back to Aitutaki, we definitely want to stay there again. We also recommend doing the lagoon trip with Marokii and getting the scooter, there is quite a lot to see. So enjoy your time on the island, it is simply stunning.

The outside patio is great. Kitchen had everything you need. Probably best to hire a car as it's a bit far from the shops etc.

Hosts are young, energetic, and wonderfully helpful. They found us what we needed through local connections when we had no idea and forgot to book transport. Pawpaw growing at the door, beautiful sunset from the back porch, great spot close to all the facilities you need, and not far from the flash beach up the road. Their cafe next door was open 7am - 9pm and the food and drinks were great and economical, and there were always locals and visitors to meet there for a coffee and a story.
