Really felt well taken care of and welcomed. He met our request for afternoon tea on day when I was craving some tea and cake, as well as picking us up from various locations including the airport and a restaurant. If you don’t manage to reserve the room with the balcony, the view from the shared balcony on the top floor is amazing and you’ll probably get to meet and chat with the other nice guests staying there. Do note that private bathroom doesn’t mean en suite. The place is clean and comfortable and the location is amazing, 1 minute walk from the beach.

Very clean place with comfortable bed. Location is in a quiet area, about 20 mins walking distance from the ferry and 10 mins to the center. Filomena, the owner, is amazing!! We were only there for one night before our ferry to Santo Antão but when we went back to Sao Vicente she let us leave our luggage there while we explored the city and then let us take a shower!! Highly recommend!
