This a lovely apartment. Very well appointed and clean. Great shower. The hosts were lovely. Had a bit of trouble as the video sent showing where parking and apartment was didn't work. Phoned the Hosts, who patiently talked me through how to find it all over video call.

Adjoining this room was a lounge for guests, with books and guides for the area, tea and coffee facilities and treats! Bernières-sur-Mer is a lovely village and close to many sites of interest. It is especially well-located for visiting the D-day landing beaches and associated museums and memorials in the area - the memorial museum in Caen was a particular highlight. It was also very easy to reach Bayeux, which was beautiful. There are bikes available at La Maison and we spent one day visiting some of the beaches along the cycle path, which was very special. The accommodation is litle piece of art. Everything is nicely arranged with everything needed. Close to Carn town centre as well,lots of restaurants around. But again, I don't have enough words to describe how beautiful the flat is:the colours, the furniture, amazing. Aurelian is a very nice host, an artist in how he arranged everything. P. S checking in it was very smooth and easy!
