Helmi and his wife and family are so nice. there's even a tofu restaurant small business in the front of the homestay, very cute. it's on the beach which is great, easy to rent snorkel gear (about 50k/day) and a motorbike (also about 100k/day). right next door to Blueshark diving, Dion and Jeffrey and the crew here are awesome. The snorkeling is also nice right at the reef at the property, just swim like 50-100m out (takes 5 mins). Amazing sunsets. Room is simple. A bit hot in the mornings. There's free coffee/water/tea. Bathroom is simple, just 1 bathroom shared with 3 rooms. i hope to stay again!

Ino ( her son ) is in charge of the jungle tour and has a strong knowledge ( and patience) for all animals & we had the chance to spot Cuscus Bear, Black Macaques, tarantulas, Tarsiers thanks to him. Offering an accommodation with a dive centre, Happy Gecko Dive Resort is located on Bunaken Island in North Sulawesi, just steps from the island’s world-famous beaches and diving sites. It features a private beach area and a restaurant. Willke and Jerry were the best hosts and run their family business with the utmost pride and attention to detail. The full board food was so good, made with love, and was fresh and the most tasty we have had in Suluwasei. A great romantic spot or family holiday. Accomodation was clean and comfortable with lovely views out over the lagoon. I completed my Advanced PADI dive cert here and the instructor was great fun and very reassuring. Largest turtles I’ve ever seen gliding around your and beautiful Eagle Rays. Much cheaper and easier to complete here than at home, with the coral reef on your doorstep. The location was pretty ideal as it’s out of the town centre but still very close, providing a quiet nights sleep and privacy. Nothing was an issue and they accommodated any requests including sourcing a specific beer from the mainland! We look forward to returning and wish them well in their business - highly recommended!

There is just one room, but it is much nicer than the rooms my friends rented next door which was twice the price. The staff were all very friendly and happy. They also picked me up from the airport in Manado. I did the evening and morning jungle trek via them, which were both great. My guide Gian was very knowledgeable about the animals and Forrest and spotted every animal that I wanted to see in the National park. The included breakfast was good, I also had lunch and dinner there which were both very tasty and for a good price. Can't recommend this guest house enough!

Homestay in perfect location in the village. Boat transfers to/from mainland and boat tours were fabulous. Relaxed and quiet to enjoy the dolphins, turtles and corals.

Really nice cottage in a lovely setting. The garden is really beautiful and the cottages are spacious, clean and with a good bathroom. The owners are very nice and make their own local products. They put a lot of care into breakfast and went out of their way to make traditional Dutch pancakes for our daughter. They also organize local tours. The location is outside the busy part of Tomohon but close enough to take a taxi/GRAB for dinner.
