All modern and spacious apartments have separate living rooms and kitchens. Each also offers a washing machine and free Wi-Fi. We informed the management of the estimated time of our arrival and told them we would get a taxi straight to the facility. When we arrived at the Westport train station we were met by a member of the management in a mini bus. Lovely surprise. When my husband and friend arrived much later that evening the kitchen was closed but they cheerfully reopened it and fed them with a fabulous plate of fresh fish and chips. The food was absolutely delicious and very plentiful. The owners and staff were wonderful, very warm and friendly. The apartment was very pleasant and comfortable. I cannot speak highly enough of the people of this warm and welcoming place. I hope to return there someday and very highly recommend it to people looking for a lovely vacation experience. This recently renovated homestay is located 44 km from Galway Greyhound Stadium and 45 km from Roscommon Museum. When staying at the homestay, guests can use private entrance. The best part of this stay was our host Mary. She was an absolute delight and went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. Mary provided more than enough for our breakfast needs and beyond. She also went the extra mile and did some washing for us - I was super impressed with Mary's friendly and helpful attitude - including a great recommendation for dinner. We travelled from there to Galway and back again because the stay was worth the miles. You'll love her.

Apartment located on second and third floors of building, so possibly not suitable for persons with mobility challenges, but perfect for all others.
