Miyajima Guesthouse Mikuniya is a traditional Japanese-style guesthouse located on Miyajima (Itsukushima). The tatami rooms are lovely, we had the most wonderful autumn colours right outside our window. Fabulous. We also really enjoyed the veg. Curry in the evening.

The hotel features a public bath, a karaoke room and free WiFi at the lobby. Staff was amazing , what service , food exceptional , very traditional with all modern comfort

The hotel offers public and private hot baths and a free shuttle to/from Miyajima Ferry Terminal. Free Wi-Fi is provided at the lobby. The room is very clean, the staff is extremely helpful. I left my JR ticket in the room and the staff is very accommodative. A highly recommended place to stay during vacation.

We thought this Ryokan was perfectly located in Miyajima- easy to walk from the ferry but yet a bit up the hill and removed from the crowds. The ryokan had a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room , due to what was available at time of booking, was not traditional Japanese but we found it quite comfortable and of good size. It had the option of turning on jazz background music which we liked! We really enjoyed our Ryokan meals in Japan and Kikunoya did not disappoint. We had wonderful meals with friendly service. Meals here seemed to perhaps give a bit of a nod to western tastes and coffee was available in the morning! They also had a nice onsen with outdoor area ( no view) which again is an important part of the overall experience. We recommend this hotel .

Situated within 30 km of Saikokuji Temple and 31 km of Senkoji Temple, Bed&Cafe Onzo オンゾー features rooms with air conditioning and a shared bathroom in Onomichi. The location is very central in Setoda township so you can walk to ferries, the art gallery, the Kosanji shrine and hill of hope, and to local restaurants.

The apartment has family rooms. Miyaura-Goten has very nice and helpful staff, cozy atmosphere and everything that a good small guest house needs. It's difficult to find anything to complain about.

The accommodation features a shared kitchen, free shuttle service and luggage storage for guests. Very nice guest house in yugeshima. Fullly equipped kitchen and bathroom as shared amenities. Rooms are not big, but very comfortable and nicely furnished. Location is quite out of the way, but the host made sure to pick us up from the ferry and had bikes available to rent.

It was a short yet a great stay- a truly relaxing place. We loved that the area was convenient, even the guesthouse itself was well-equipped. The owner was friendly and helpful. He made sure we would have a comfortable stay and we did.

The property features river and inner courtyard views, and is 8.6 km from Mizushima Ryokuchi Fukuda Park. The accommodation offers luggage storage space and a housekeeping service for guests. The most beautiful, quiet Japanese house for first time travellers! Facilities were great and location was absolutely amazing. There are plenty of cafes and local stores (ceramic stores) surrounding hotel which was awesome for exploring. Although it is out of Okayama, staying in Kurashiki was much better to get away from busy crowds. Highly recommended, worth the money!!
