Beautiful experience, I was welcomed warmly by a lady of the staff, who knew basic English, just like most of the stuff I've had the pleasure of meeting. On top of that, they were very friendly and ready to help. There were many useful facilities in the common area I've used, like the fridge, the laundry machine and a scale. I recommend this place, as it also has good access to the metro stations.

Opened in June 2013, The Edo Sakura offers accommodation in a Japanese-style Machiya townhouse located a 5-minute walk from Iriya Subway Station and a 10-minute walk from JR Uguisudani Train Station. Free Wi-Fi is available at the entire property and guests can enjoy looking out into the traditional garden. Ueno Station is a 15-minute walk away. A really beautiful hotel on a quiet street. The staff were very sweet and accommodating to all our needs. The private bath was wonderful and the breakfast was also very good.

The owner is very welcoming and so nice! The property is well located, near to the station so it’s convenient to move around Tokyo, and there is also a convenience store just in front of the Ryokan. The room is so nice and have everything we need to have a comfortable stay! It was such a nice experience. I would definitely come back during my next trip in Tokyo!

The air-conditioned rooms at Ryokan Annex Katsutaro feature Japanese futon bedding, and each has a TV and fridge. The attached bathroom includes a bathtub. This is my 4th time staying here! I love the location, the vibe, and the hospitality of the staff and owner. It reminds me of when you are staying at a close relatives' house. Yanaka Ginza is very close. Sendagi Subway station is also super close or you can walk a bit more to Nippori station. This hotel is my fav place !

There is a bath for each gender on site and both the female and male baths offer a view of Senso-ji Temple’s Five-storied Pagoda. The staff was welcoming and eager to help. We shipped our luggages a day after our arrival and they even brought the heavy bags to our room in our absence. The ryokan is very well located, near the temple and the small shops. It gets very quiet at night even though it is a very busy area during the day. The room is small but well put together. Minimal decoration, traditional with tatami and comfortable futons. We were also provided with lovely snacks and tea as a welcoming package. The onsen is very intimate and private, with a view of either the temple nearby or the Skytree. We would definitely come back to this lovely ryokan when we will return to Japan!

Great newly built apartment complex with all comforts you'd ever need. I could cook in the kitchen and also use the washing machine and hang my clothes to dry in the bathroom (that has a "drying" function that is amazing). Thanks a lot for a great visit!

The host is super friendly, he was very kind to accept an early check in due to our luggages. He also gave us a lift to the trian station even thought our train was very early. He is such an amazing host! The apartment is comfortable for 2 people. We really appreciate that it s fully equipped with everything you may need. It was very clean and it was nice to experience a local lifestyle with tatami The location is very convenient , located less than 10 minutes from metro and jr stations, and 20 minutes from shinjuku so that you can walk there. We hope to come back soon to Japan and for sure we'll stay again here!

Early check in available for a small extra fee which was really helpful after an early flight to Japan. Two separate sleeping areas with sliding doors made for a great home from home for a few days. Easy to get to by direct train from Haneda airport. Would stay again.
