He’ll take you to the market to shop for the freshest ingredients, teach you about finding the best spices, and share fascinating insights into Moroccan history and traditions. Dar Bensouda’s rooms combine the traditional architecture of the original palace with modern comforts. The rooms and suites are arranged around the fountain courtyard. They are air-conditioned and have a private bathroom. The suites have a bathtub and sitting room. We had a great experience! We were warmly welcomed by Dar Bensouda staff, even though I came at a ridiculous hour of 5am. The hotel is built inside a 16th century buidling — the ceilings and the decor are amazing, and the room stays cool during the day even without an AC. And it was nice to chill by the pool after the heat of the streets outside.

The bed and breakfast has family rooms. - Host (Hassan) is extremely friendly, considerate and a very caring person! - Can use a common toilet at a lower level for shower. - We were a bunch of fit elderly, even though we wanted to carry our luggage by ourselves to our room, host insisted to help carrying our luggage up to the our room at level 3 (and down when checkout). - One of our team members lost her passport in Marrakech after we checkout from Fes. Host extended his help to obtain softcopy of immigration entry chop on passport and even offered to help in other ways that were way beyond our expectation. Deeply touched and very much appreciated!!
