The accommodation is non-smoking. Enkhuisen was by far, our favourite place in the Netherlands. Beautiful, peaceful, uncrowded and authentic. Everything is within walking distance. We took the steamtram and boat for a leisurely, fun and historic journey to the town - (Keep your luggage to a minimum if bringing eg store big bags at Amsterdam Centraal, Sloterdijk storage is unreliable) Families with young kids thoroughly enjoyed the fun activities along the way as did we (an older couple). In addition to wonderful walks, Enkhuisen the town has the best museum (Zuiderzee) - a living, breathing historic collection of homes and businesses dating back around a hundred years ago showing what life was like back then for the fishing community before the dike wall changed their way of life completely. A fascinating, absorbing trip through time. So much to see and do. Now, the accommodation: Absolutely wonderful, our hosts Ellen and Dirk, could not have been more helpful and kind. They did everything possible to make us feel welcome and comfortable. And the accommodation itself was an utter delight - spacious, comfortable bed, great shower, gorgeous view out over the canal and awesome breakfast choices. We would encourage everyone to come here to experience the best of the Netherlands. We would love to come again.

Featuring free bikes and views of sea, Boat & Boost Amsterdam is a recently renovated guest house located in Amsterdam, 3.7 km from Rembrandt House. There is a private entrance at the guest house for the convenience of those who stay. Every room is equipped with a terrace with lake views. Absolutely stunning stay - we travel a lot and this is the first time we already want to plan a return stay in exactly the same accommodation. Jan was an absolute star who was incredibly welcoming. The facilities are beautiful and the area is perfect. It’s a quiet little area surrounded by some lovely eating spots, and then a very quick (every ten minutes) tram will have you straight into the centre of Amsterdam to get properly stuck in. We booked the smaller Sky room as the larger was sold out, however the cozy loft bed under the boats skylight was perfect under the rain to go to sleep to. Jan made sure we had everything we needed and more, complimentary bits and bobs everywhere and the most welcoming personality. Thank you again for everything, we will be back with friends to try the larger room! ❤️❤️❤️

DW Castricum, a property with a garden, is situated in Castricum, 34 km from Amsterdam Central Station, 34 km from Anne Frank House, as well as 35 km from A'DAM Lookout. There is a private entrance at the holiday park for the convenience of those who stay. The holiday park features rooms with air conditioning, free private parking and free WiFi. The property was large, lots of space for our family. The location was great- Castricum is a lovely place with fantastic beaches nearby and a very handy train station!

De Dinkelhoeve, a property with a garden, is set in Heemstede, 12 km from Keukenhof, 25 km from Anne Frank House, as well as 26 km from Vondelpark. There is a private entrance at the apartment for the convenience of those who stay. There is a terrace and guests can make use of free WiFi, free private parking and an electric vehicle charging station. Very nice and peaceful place. We had a great stay! The place was very confortable and the hosts are very nice. We enjoyed looking at the cows and horses outside. The area was better than expected since there is a center area with a bunch of stores and restaurants that were in walking/biking distance. Highly recommended.

Lenny and Pete were very responsive and accommodating in every way. The room was well equipped and could be perfectly darkened at night, and the location couldn't have been better...a quiet street, close to the canal, in the heart of the Jordaan. Walkable to anything in the city core.

A doable distance to the capital. Bikes available for rental. Experiencing farming behind the scenes, feeding calfs. Very nice hosts. Worth every penny.
