Traveling all the way from Oslo to Tromsø, this is by far the best cabin I’ve stayed in throughout Norway! The room was cozy, and the amenities were excellent. I particularly appreciated having both a traditional coffee maker and a capsule coffee machine – such a thoughtful touch. The bed and duvet were incredibly comfortable, making it a perfect place to relax after a long day. Plus, there’s a supermarket just a 5-minute drive away, which was super convenient. The little snowy yard in front of the cabin was picturesque, especially with the view of the yellow house across and the mountains in the background – it felt so romantic. And to top it all off, we saw the northern lights three nights in a row! The host’s service was impeccable. They reminded us of the supermarket closing hours and even let us know when the northern lights appeared – how amazing is that! The only minor issue was the water heater. It seemed to be shared with the upstairs unit, as the hot water ran out mid-shower once. But since the room itself was so warm and cozy, it didn’t bother me much. I would absolutely love to come back and stay here for a longer time!

Sakrisøy Gjestegård - Manor House in Sakrisøy - Solbakken anno 1880 is housed in a former manor house dating back to 1880 and is located in the area of Moskenes. Free WiFi is featured throughout the property and free private parking is available 70 metres away. The place was really beautiful, and the host Jack was so kind—he was very helpful and gave some great advice. Highly recommended, and we’d love to come back.

The island with the iconic, ochre yellow cabins in the middle of the Reine fjord, The island have been in the care of the Gylseth family for many generations. Pictured in countless commercials, postcards, tv shows and films, this is a destination that you will not easily forget. Sat right on the edge of the water in the bay. Heating was good.

It sits right above the water, with stunning views of the sea and surrounding mountains. Whether we were enjoying breakfast or simply reading by the window, the calming scenery made every moment special. The house was spotlessly clean, and the beds were exceptionally comfortable - perfect for a restful night's sleep. One of the highlights was definitely the floating sauna, which provided a relaxing and memorable experience, unlike anything we've tried before. Overall, everything exceeded our expectations. It’s the perfect place to unwind, recharge, and enjoy the beauty of the surroundings. We would absolutely love to return!

The Lofot Aquarium is a 3-minute walk away. Location and views were great. Enjoyed having a working kitchen. Wonderful breakfast. Enjoyed grilling our dinner vs eating at a restaurant. Parking was easy and convienient.
