The bed was very clean and comfortable. The air conditioner was very strong and the TV had many channels. The host was very warm, welcoming, diligent, friendly, and helpful. There is a great night market and many stores nearby.

We really enjoyed the traditional tea ceremony where a tea expert prepared 3 types of locally grown tea. It was such a calming and peaceful experience, set next to the tranquil tea farm, and made for a great start to the day. The breakfast was excellent, super delicious and nutritious. I loved waking up to the beautiful tea farm just outside the window. We felt well taken care of by the tea farm owner.

The place is run by a family. The son helped us carry our luggages to the 2nd floor. The place has no elevator. Our room is huge with all the basic amenities. It's got a great view from the patio. On clear days one can view the sun rise there. Breakfast was delicious and healthy. It's about a 10 min drive from the Tai Ping sky ladder. There are no resturants close by, so grab your bento from the Tai Ping old street. Highly recommended.

If you looking for an escape from crowd and touristic areas this is a place for you. I was traveling alone and felt so safe in the Rainy Pleasure. The room and bathroom are very big and pleasant. The mountain views from the rooms are as good as many of the lookout points in Alishan. The breakfast and dinner is elaborately prepared almost like a Michelin Star restaurant. The owners treated us like a friend that is staying with them.
