What a nice place!! Great view, delicious homemade food and the temperature is perfect on August without humidity. The ancient city at the top of the hill is marvellous and 4 minutes by car. A huge beach nearby 1 hour otherwise you enjoy the pool!! Or you dive at vjosa river 10 minutes away. Remember to ask for the new road. Don t follow the gps road without a high car.

This has to be the best place to stay in Albania. The whole castle is for yourself, we booked it together with my girlfriend and we were in shock how magic this place is. I think this place could be amazing for a family of four, you have dogs, cats, deer’s, cows perfect for kids and for adults too. If we could we would stay here forever. The host is very friendly and replies very fast. He brings fresh breakfast every morning. Everything is from their farm, so the food is really tasty. When i come again to Albania i would definitely come back here.

The location is very convenient, just a short walk from Berat’s historic center, making it easy to explore the town. the property is perfect! it is in the old part of Berat, with characteristic buildings all around. The owner helped us with our luggage from the car park to the property. the rooms are traditional Albanian and tastefully decorated with articles of excellent craftsmanship. The terrace and the dining area are very beautiful. The room had a great view of the river and the part of the town on the opposite side of the river. There are a couple of very good restaurants and bakeries in the area near the hotel. The breakfast was tasty and varied like a feast. The service is very personalized as it's a family-run property with very nice owners. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to visit Berat.

All was perfect; very clean & comfortable. we loved the terrace and that we could have breakfast there with an amazing view on the old city. very welcoming owners; parking in front of the building - also perfect for exploring the city by foot.
