I am not sure what to do in the area but I did not try to find out so I just may not know. The surroundings was not that spectacular but it is not promised. We stopped there to rest overnight on our long drive. The check-in was easy, instructions were clear. The room was very clean with a comfortable bed and separate toilet and bathroom. The room was spacious and the breakfast was lovely. Check in was hands free and instructions clear on how to get the keys. There was a fridge with drinks in the lobby (which you pay for the next day at breakfast) and this was helpful because the restaurant was closed. It's really for two people and we thank our hosts for setting it up for three. It's very clean and tidy and well equipped. It has a nice balcony and has a great Tyrolean style. There's plenty of parking. The hosts are exceptional and we very much enjoyed meeting Gunther and being able to taste his schnapps in his distillery.
