The owners are very kind, subtly attentive and polite. The building and grounds are beautiful and extremely well kept. The rooms have very comfortable beds and pillows. All rooms have clever key fobs that work for the room and front door. There is a breakfast lounge come bar, which although I didn’t use it, in the evening you can have a drink and leave a note to say what you’ve had (I like this honesty system). The owners are clearly breakfast people and take huge pride in making it special and it really was. There was a lot to choice from and all clearly excellent quality food and drink. Afterwards I was also given two cakes with a takeaway bag, really nice touch. There is a coffee machine in the room with high quality cups which are branded and match the sugar and cream (I like those touches). They have animals (two goats and a donkey) in an adjacent field) so if you stay with children they will love that. There is an elegant style and attention to detail about all aspects of the place. I will definitely stay again, will look forward to it.

Cost and modern, artsy and practical, full of light and secluded. This one’s a gem, with own entrance, a marvelous modern kitchen and many old renovated wood elements. We loved the living - dining - kitchen room, where the sunrise shone a glowing red light through a round window, and the sunset’s glow was visible through three large window to the other side. The lighting is beautiful and cosy, there were vases, candles, a most unusual bathroom. The place is quiet, we heard birdsong, a frightened a dove nesting outside in the balcony whenever we left house. Beautiful and highly recommendable.

I stayed for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The building and surrounding area are really scenic and peaceful. The room was clean and tidy, with everything I needed for a short stay. The service was great — welcoming, very friendly and helpful. A nice, quiet spot that I’d be happy to return to.

Hospitality, kindness, breakfast, location, house&garden.. everything was just so great. You can feel the peace while you stay. There is a really lovely pool which we couldn't swim because of the weather but it would be the really great to swim in there which covered by fully green garden and trees. I highly recommended!! All was great, Jan and family are awesome people. Location few meters from the forest, silent and green. Breakfast was simple and complete, they prepare warm eggs for you if you want. There is a closed hut for the bikes, where it is also possibke to charge them. I have really nothing to complain about... Super happy and will go back for sure!

    For our purposes the location was ideal being only minutes from the main highway. The property was spotless,the hosts very welcoming with very good English to counter our nonexistent Flemish. Lovely breakfast

    Location, Staff, general feel of the place & a great garden. It was nice to have a small bar area where you can sit either inside or outside on a deck where the breakfast was served. Easy to get to off the main road.
