The staff and the owner herself of a place were amicable, responsive and lovely at all! The hotel was freshly furnitured with all commodities. Breakfast was modest but full of local-made products - fresh baked bread from neighbouring bakery and dairy products from local farmer.

We loved everything! Evi is a lovely host and answered all our questions :) The Gädeli made us feel right at home and kept us warm during our winter stay. This place provides wonderful amenities including a well equipped kitchen, heated floors (particularly in the bathroom), large windows to take in the views of the mountains and is conveniently located within walking distance to trails, the lake, local grocer and train station. We highly recommend staying at the Gädeli!

This place is incredibly comfortable, spacious, and cozy, all while being affordable. During our trip to Luzern, Switzerland, we stayed here for three days. Location was really good. Shopping alleys just right down the lane, ferry and train terminal just about 10-15 mins walk. For Muslim travellers, there are two halal restaurants in the same alley as the accommodation. Staff was really friendly and accomodating. Check in time is 3pm. We were so grateful that an early check in was possible as we have a toddler with us. The room was modern and updated. It is nice and comfortable.

The family-owned 5-star Hotel Schweizerhof Luzern is located right in the Old Town of Lucerne, next to the lake. It offers a spa area and elegant rooms with modern furniture.
