The staff were so friendly and welcoming when we arrived. We had a delicious fresh breakfast each morning. The staff were also very helpful in recommending things for us to do. The hotel is right beside the train station. There are lots of wonderful activities to engage in in the area, lovely hiking trails and cable cars to viewpoints.

Amazing apartment with a perfectly planned and well-designed interior. We booked a double room, the big and comfy bathroom was on the floor, also there was a sauna in the apartment! I had nice relaxing time reading in the living room with Biblioteck, eating breakfast at the dining room and looking in the fully equipped kitchen. 5 minutes walk from the city centre, 10 min to the train station.

You have the impression to stay at an Airbnb or friends’ house and don’t want to leave. Great location for hiking in Appenzell. 10 min drive from the main town with restaurants and supermarket. Beautiful views of the mountains. Very clean, and spacious rooms. Continental breakfast was extensive. Loved the homemade bread rolls and wide selection of teas. Would stay again if I hike in that area.
