Vreni's place was excellent! A shared bathroom and private room with everything you need. We had an excellent stay for 1 night as we hiked from Basel to Himmelried. There were cooking facilities in the room as well and the bathroom and rooms were very clean. We also received a lovely thank you gift which was much appreciated. Highly recommend!

it was just … a dream! a modest but unforgettable castle experience:) Thomas, the castle manager, was super kind and welcoming. the facilities are practically new - but combined so carefully with the old heart of the castle. the beds are comfortable, there are board games to choose from, and even during the colder months the heating system works great. would recommend a thousand times! (just keep in mind that it requires walking up some flights of stairs to reach the premises) so grateful for this experience ❤️
