Everything in the place exudes quality. Although it is near the railway, the insulation on the windows is so good that it never is an issue. The bed was absolutely superb! Shower also very good and invigorating.

Great location near the spa, near city, near Rhine river. Room was big, well equipped, very nice room. Hotel lunch/dinner restaurant was good. Breakfast can slightly improve quality. Staff was very polite. Spa was excellent, direct connect from the hotel. The only drawback I would personally say is that hotel price seems high for a 4* hotel.

Close to Basel by train, a very convenient oasis away from the heat, hustle and bustle of the city. Excellent rooms, efficient but friendly staff with old-world manners, a lovely setting amongst mature trees, and a delicious dinner outside in the cool of a summer’s evening. It was a pleasure to stay here.

The single room I booked was comfortable and fine for 1 person. The bed was comfortable. The shared shower & toilet were spotless. Towels provided every day if needing a replacement. The weather was very hot so big fans were provided if wanted. Loved the kitchen/ lounge area too. Very central. Just at the end of the Main Street. WiFi worked perfectly. Would definitely stay again!

I stayed at the Silo Hotel for 3 nights and had a fantastic experience. The building, originally a cacao factory from 1912, is modern and unique, creating a great atmosphere. Check-in was easy, and I received a Basel card for free transportation and discounted gallery entries, which was a nice bonus. The location is excellent, close to shops, including a large Coop market, and a German train station for travel. There are also nearby bus stops and a park by the river. My room was spotless, and the breakfast was outstanding. The staff was incredibly helpful 💜 I absolutely loved the co-working spaces and the relaxing area filled with plants, books, and cozy furniture. They are incredibly eco-friendly as well. Definitely highly recommended!
