Astrid was very hospitable, kitchen was very well-equipped, generally clean and modern, with space to spread out, and less than 5 min to Siebnen-Wangen train station. There's also a book that tells you about the history of the hotel (in German only). Very cosy place to stay.

The outside playground for kids is amazing, be prepared to pay for some attractions but it’s totally fine. We had dinner at the restaurant and it was very nice.

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and attended to every detail with professionalism and warmth. The room was spacious, beautifully decorated, and spotlessly clean, offering all the comforts I could ask for, including a comfortable bed and modern amenities. The hotel’s facilities were top-notch — I especially enjoyed the relaxing spa and the delicious breakfast buffet with a wide variety of options.     The location is picturesque. Staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms were clean and well decorated. Probably would have been a 10 if we hadn't booked on such a hot day.

    Everything was fabulous, clean comfortable, quiet location on the edge of the lake. The hotel called us after we made the booking to advise the restaurant is closed on Mondays so we made alternate arrangements first class customer service

    We loved our stay...the most amazing location with a wonderful view of the lake. We had two rooms...one had a patio where we could sit and enjoy the view. Close to the lake, train station and shops. Schmerikon is lovely
