Whilst a little old fashioned it was clean, in good condition and everything worked. The hotel staff were very friendly and the evening meal and breakfast in the restaurant were both excellent. There was a small car about 50 yards along the road and I got a space there but other parking was available in the village and it all seemed very safe.
