Excellent value for money. A rare feeling, that the hotel really cares about you. Absolutely recommended. This is a wonderfully renovated village hotel, which now is perfect for business and leisure travelers alike. We used it on the Easter weekend for hiking in Jura. The location offers no views, but instead there is a couple of train stations nearby (one 2, another 7 minutes walking distance). Because of this, a great variety of hiking destinations in Jura are in easy reach. Excellent soundproofing, rooms were really quiet. The double room was very spacious, a single room smaller but sufficient. Nice modern and practical set up with a very good lighting. Rooms are air conditioned. Coffee machine with the capsules replenished. Excellent cleaning. Nice and spacious bathroom in the double room. Great supply of toiletries for the level of the hotel. Very good breakfast. Good middle-priced restaurant with a very friendly staff, with good to perfect English. As a special feature - despite the restaurant being very popular, hotel guests always get a guaranteed table. We have stayed in a lot of Swiss hotels outside big cities, but this is probably our best experience ever.

I wasn‘t sure I was at the right property because the porch light was off and I couldn‘t locate the key box. However, the host had previously sent a photo through the booking messenger system with the key location that was very helpful. (The photo wasn’t attached to my email, I needed to log in to booking to see the photo.) Thanks

The suite was very comfortable. The bed was comfortable. We appreciated the little fridge, coffee and plates and cutlery that we could use. It was a great place to stay after a day in Bern. We also enjoyed a little time in Solothurn which is close by.

The hotel is perfect. It’s charming, clean and in a fabulous location between the Solothurn train station and the bridge into the Old Town. We booked two rooms for New Year’s Eve (a single for my teenaged niece) and it was the best value for money. The staff are super friendly and helpful (they made some modifications to our reservations and Daniela was super sweet at checkin and when we got cappuccinos, hot chocolate and croissants after breakfast had officially closed. They have a fabulous coffee machine available to guests next to the gorgeous area to drink and relax. Decor is very pretty! The beds are comfortable, linens are soft, and the rooms are very quiet. Super clean with great hot water and water pressure in the showers. Rooms accessible by elevator, so I will be bringing my older mom here, too. Now my favorite hotel in Solothurn (and my husband is from Solothurn and we’ve stayed in many hotels here). There is also an apartment where you can book individual rooms with shared kitchen and bathroom at great prices on this site. Highly recommended and can’t wait to return.
