Probably the best hostel in the entire Amazon! Not only are the owners and their entire family extremely kind and helpful, the food is also amazing and they are the only place in Macedonia (the village) with uninterrupted electricity and high speed internet thanks to solar panels and Starlink (satellite internet). I got quite a bit of work done during my stay and was also able to relax. The hostel is located at the edge of the village (about 5 min walking from where you arrive by boat), which means that it's very quiet and peaceful.

I was impressed with my room, it offered a sizeable double bed and the accomodation itself overlooked the Amazon river. where you can admire the sunrise and sunset. The staff were super helpful & friendly. The Maloka in the center of the accommodation offered the perfect space to browse the handmade artesanias, as well as enjoy a meal and meet local people and travellers alike. I would go back in a heartbeat.

Our trip to the Amazon was incredible. The best stay of our Colombian trip, we cannot recommend it enough. The food was local and they adapted to our preferences (my partner is vegetarian), the cabins were comfortable, cozy and we felt at home. Good place to stay. It's in the village of San Martin, gives you a more local insight. Very friendly staff, they organize tours in the surroundings and activities in the village. They offer meals too. Would recommend!

I've had a great time staying with Crisanto and Diana! The hospedaje is a lovely house located at the edge of the rainforest. There's lots of insects, birds, exotic trees and plants near the house, and even some tiny monkeys! Diana's food was amazing (she catered to my dietary restrictions too), and Crisanto was a great guide, taking me to the forest both during the day and at night. I also spent some time cooking with Diana, and got some traditional painting done. I really felt like a part of their family, and highly recommend the hospedaje!

The owners are so genuine, helpful and generous, always sharing what they have. Their place is beautiful, peaceful and just a 20 minute walk/5 minute boat ride into the town, perfect location! Loved all the animals that were in and around the property, such a great place to chill for a few days.
