The atmosphere of an old, traditional family-run hotel. The beer garden is spectacular but the weather wasn't kind to us. For cyclists, this is on the Via Julia and close to the Inn Radweg and there's a secure bike shed with charging points. The restaurant is the highlight, we ate the best and best value meals of our holiday. The dining room is delightful. Good breakfast and friendly staff. Good value for money being close to Munich and right by an S-bahn station.

Setting, Location and homely village feel was the most important elements that came through during our stay, the warmth of all the staff and the walking through the parks and forests, expecially how the village itself is build integrating forest and architecture. Took a walk to the local greek restuarant, Gefsig, there too, experienced incredible service and people.

The hosts were very welcoming and friendly from the time we met them until we check-out. They made us feel at home straightaway: showed us around the accommodation, offered us a drink and told us if we need anything to let them know as they only live upstairs. My children enjoyed playing the piano and not worried about disturbing the neighbourhood as our hosts reassured us that the room is sound proof.

    Location was great for our purposes, right on the S-Bahn. Free parking. Very lovely staff, both at the front desk, cleaning crew, and breakfast crew. Rooms had comfortable beds. Very clean. Charming ambiance in the Bavarian style. Breakfast was super.

    The place is spotlessly clean, ideal location for going walking or cycling, the cuisine is excellent for reasonable prices too. The staff are very attentive and want to make sure that every need is taken care of. The ample beer garden also provides entertainment, so you can relax and enjoy a beer while listening to local music, and if the mood takes you, can even get up and have a dance There’s also a local train stop to take you in to Munich if you don’t want to drive
