Everything was amazing ! The employee are really kind towards strangers (who don't especially know german). And the breakfast is fantastic ! You can eat anything you like and in a healthy way. There's a lot of activities to do in the surroundings. I recommend this place at 💯% 😊

My third stay here and it is still perfect for cyclists and hikers and for groups and families. Arriving wet and muddy, the welcome is warm. Refreshed by a warm shower and coffee and cake in the restaurant. Dinner, usually a buffet, was an Easter special and very good value. Breakfast buffet was excellent. There are laundry facilities and a bike workshop if needed and plenty of space to relax and recover from the day's exertions.

Absolutely fantastic! It's a wonderful, magical part of Germany, nestled in a forest with a fantastic play area indoor and outdoor for kids, in a fairytale like town. Makes for wonderful forest walks, food was great, the atmosphere wonderful, staff, room, everything amazing. Will definitely return here!

This was the highlight of our ten day trip around Germany. After lots of touristy walking around (apparently we did 18000 steps in one day😁😁😁) we found this little gem in the back of beyond and booked two basic double rooms with extra large double beds. Both rooms had a balcony so great if you're a smoker or vaper (like myself). The rooms were spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, and a stunning Forrest view from the balcony. The restaurant is closed on a Monday and Tuesday but lucky for us we stayed on a Thursday. For 55 euros myself and wifey had the best schnitzel we'd ever had with side salad, roasted potatoes, drinks and pudding. If you need to walk it off afterwards there's a lovely babbling river to walk along. In the corridor near to our room kettles were available to take into the room along with a well stocked mini bar and snacks to purchase at very reasonable prices. The staff were excellent throughout our stay and we are already planning to come back next year on the motorbike and make sure that this hotel is on our list of stops.

    The location was nice. It was close to different shops and in the heart of a beautiful German town. The owner was really friendly. Breakfast was good. The hotel is pet friendly and you pay a small fee for your pet. The building is old but well maintained.
