We loved our time at Hakuna Matata. The staff were so wonderful. We loved all of The excursions. They felt organic and genuine. We felt like guests rather than tourists. The sounds of the jungle were beautiful. The property really nice, clean and super comfortable. I highly recommend. It superseded my expectations.

Loved this quiet, charming place tucked in a blooming garden, hidden away in a peaceful corner of Tena. A perfect contrast to the noisy, busy center. The owners and crew were fantastic – helpful, respectful, easy-going, and genuinely kind. Great breakfast, good conversations, real traveler’s vibe.

Lovely spacious and bright rooms, good showers, kitchen was small but could manage to make whatever we needed. Hostel was very quiet when we were there. Staff really helpful and we booked an excellent trip to Limoncocha in the Amazon through the hostel, would recommend
