Hostel Betelu is a gem in the Basque Country. Great location as it’s close to Pamplona (bull run), Tolosa, and San Sebastián. The hostel is exceptionally clean, the rooms are clean, quite and comfortable with a bathroom and shower in each room. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The bar/restaurant on the ground floor was excellent with great food ! I stayed here 4 nights for the running of the bulls. I’ve stayed here in the past and will be back again. It was also fun meeting some of the people in the village. I strongly recommend hostel betelu! Thanks for a great stay Hostel Betelu ❤️❤️❤️

During my recent trip to the Basque region of Spain, my stay at the Iriarte Jauregia hotel was an absolute highlight. Despite only staying for one night, this 17th-century palace left a lasting impression and quickly became my favorite place from the entire trip. From the moment I arrived, I was enchanted by the stunning architecture and the meticulously designed decor that perfectly blends historic charm with modern elegance. My room was incredible, offering a serene retreat with breathtaking views of the countryside. The sound of cows grazing with bells around their necks added a peaceful, Alpine-like ambiance that made my stay even more special. The culinary experience at Iriarte Jauregia was exceptional. With two on-site restaurants, I enjoyed some of the finest food and wine of my trip. Dinner was a gourmet delight, featuring creative dishes that highlighted local flavors. Breakfast was equally impressive, providing a wide array of delicious options that set a perfect tone for the day. The staff at Iriarte Jauregia were welcoming and attentive, ensuring that my every need was met with genuine warmth and hospitality. Their dedication to providing top-notch service made my stay all the more enjoyable. In summary, Iriarte Jauregia is a true gem in the Basque countryside. The magnificent palace, the remarkable decor, the incredible food and wine, and the unparalleled service all contribute to an unforgettable experience. Beautiful apartment with everything you would need for a family, in a very peaceful setting. I am so glad I found this property as originally we were going to stay in San Sebastian. However this was much better for our dogs, and providing dog bowls was very thoughtful. The kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped and very clean. I couldn't find a kettle but we boiled water for our tea! Views from the balcony were stunning and watching and hearing the cows parade down the hill was a bonus. The access road is quite narrow, so we were a bit anxious driving up to the property, but fortunately the parking is more than adequate for a minivan, and once we had driven up the road a few times, it was fine! The host Inigo is very helpful, and quick to answer questions. This was especially useful as we couldn't get WiFi on the drive down, so couldn't access/download all the information when needed. However Inigo patiently sent it again. Thank you 😆!

Easy access, good communication from the owner. No issues and able to contact if there were any problems. The location is fantastic and so quiet and peaceful. Everything you need in an apartment from utensils to towels.
