The property was warm and cozy! Really well decorated throughout .The property provided with everything we would need with an extra basket provided with little bits of different cereal which was a nice touch! Communication was great! Really easy to get in! We was warned about the stairs been steep but we didn't have an issue at all with stairs inside or outside these didn't affect us in any way!

Absolutely lovely flat — spotlessly clean, incredibly cosy, and the host couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. It truly felt like a home away from home. I was thoroughly impressed and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again

The property owners are really kind and accommodating. Responded to a query and helped us instantly. The property was in a very good condition, excellent big bathrooms. A washing machine downstairs for muddy clothes. Really well thought through for guests. I have never had these excellent reviews about any other properties ever. It is quiet in central place of town, many shops around if you need anything.

Very clean and well maintained. Chocolates and wine left for when we arrived. The owner did pop by to say hello and apologised for not leaving milk which she usually does. She had been away so wasn't there to drop any in on the day we arrived. Rooms spotless. Plenty of space. Downstairs had underfloor heating which was very welcoming, especially after a day out on the hills walking. The bathroom had a spacious shower which was very clean. Towels provided for the bathroom. A very spacious property that felt like a home away from home. Would definitely stay again in the future.

This was our second stay and will more than likely stay here again. Lovely location for exploring the lakes. New refurbished rooms and good food. Very clean. Staff lovely too. Highly recommended

I go to the melbreak regularly to meet friends. We always have a lovely meal, the staff are brilliant, very clean, restaurant is so chilled, food is always of a high standard. My favourite is the prawn pad thai. I recommend to everyone. Often stay on a weeknight or a Sunday, the room rates are reasonable and it's cheaper to stay than get a taxi.

Nice location and very nice decor. The gardens looked lovely although the weather wasn’t good enough to be able to utilise them. The room was very clean and tidy. The older lady who served us both mornings at breakfast was lovely, friendly, helpful and very attentive. The cooked breakfast was excellent with lots of choice. Nice atmosphere in the lounge / bar area. Disability access was good. Adequate parking spaces. Coffee cake was yummy!

Great location for exploring the West Coast and the western fells of the Lake District. The room and bathroom were spotlessly clean. The staff were all excellent, friendly and they were happy to squeeze me in at the restaurant for an evening meal even though the kitchen was due to stop serving.
