From the moment we booked, communication was quick and friendly. Upon arrival we had a very warm welcome from Karen and Martin and during our stay they took very good care of us. Our rooms were fresh and clean, rooms were cleaned daily, wet towels changed without having to ask and shower gel and shampoo were replenished in time. There was plenty of storage room and the shower worked fine with hot water within seconds and easy controls. Breakfast was good, a wide choice of hot items cooked to order and a choice of cereals and fruit juices on the buffet. A lot of attention was given to detail: the way the fresh fruit was arranged on the platter, the way the towels and napkins were folded, the slices of cake in the hall, etc. Good advice was given by Karen and Martin about places to see and where best to eat. The B&B was within minutes walking from bus stop and beach, less than 10 minutes walking from Weymouth station and some 15-20 minutes from town centre. Bus services to everywhere (but be aware that some services only run until 16.00 or 17.00 hrs) Weymouth is a lovely town, the area is stunning and if you plan to stay here, we can highly recommend Kelston Guest House.

The overall ambiance of the Inn is quaint and relaxing. It is set in a rural countryside that is scenic. The staff were very pleasant and helpful and knowledgeable. Since breakfast was included in our stay, the price was a good deal. For an extra cost, we ate in a pub below our room. The food was good. The whole experience was everything I love about England.

We booked in primarily for the price and location for a one night stay, which for us was perfect. The host was friendly, welcoming and happy to answer any questions we had. Our room was very clean and comfortable with nice touches like tea and coffee making facilities etc. Breakfast was tasty (full english) and more on offer if you fancy. It is a central location so parking is a premium but the host has this sorted by offering free parking in two of the car parks in Weymouth. We stopped outside the guest house briefly to check in and drop off our bags. We chose the Swannery car park (5/10 minute walk from the guest house) due to location to town and the RSPB nature reserve which we wanted to explore (worth a walk around, doesn't take long, 30/40 minutes on gravelled pathways). It's a very large car park, plenty of room for our van. Perfect stay for us, thank you.

Friendly welcome, nice and neat, breakfast from big to small at your choise, easy to find, parking in front of house and place was on the right side of town for me. And if you don’t want to drive into town, there’s a bus stop a few steps away and it takes 10 minutes to town centre.

We had exchanged a few messages before we arrived and when we met we called each other by our first names and felt very welcome. We were shown to our very pretty room and the fittings, chosen with Melanie's taste, were a welcome relief from the journey. There were aromatic candles, cold milk in the fridge, welcome sweets, and breakfast, which is a sandwich and drink made to order the day before and can be taken away on time. Very tasty sandwiches were served on the moving bus. I can't wait to get back again.
