The Brickwall Hotel is a very nice hotel with an excellent restaurant. Above all, we would like to thank the friendly concierge Rasha. No effort was too much for her. She also gave us a great list of recommendations of National trust buildings. We visited them all. Yes, Petworth castle is the best.

Almost everything ... a tiny, lovely little cottage located perfectly for relaxing and spending a great time! Everything you need is there, Wifi very good, big supermarket 7 minutes by car, close to Hastings and the ocean! Animals are so cute and it's just quiet there ... wonderful!!

The breakfast was awesome, the personal touches in the room were lovely , the roll top bath was gorgeous, had our own parking space, hotel was lovely and quiet and not far from the old town. We would love to go back and to be greeted by a lovely dog was sooooo cool!!! Slept so well in the wonderful bed, me and my newly wed wife of just over a day enjoyed being here so much, your missing out if you haven't stayed here!!!!

We had a wonderful 2-night stay at Madeleine’s lovely B&B. The place was spotlessly clean, the shower was great, and every morning Madeleine brought us a delicious fresh breakfast. She is a warm and welcoming host who really takes care of the details. All in all, a fantastic experience – highly recommended!

Great location.what an absolute gem. Parked for free outside. Alison was so welcoming we were allowed to check in early. Dropped our bags in out room and went for a walk. Newly decorated loved the Victorian decor. Gluten free and dairy free options for breakfast. We loved every minute of it. Highly recommended St Leonards is quieter than Hastings Central but that's only a 15 min walk as well. Oh and the sea view. A real one 100m away across the road

It was perfect to unwind at the beginning of the holidays. The owner is very generous, loves to cook and has a talent for it, is very kind, and the atmosphere is made for you to feel cosy and rest properly. Loved the William Morris details everywhere. Close to Hastings' shoreline, great for walks on the beach. Dogs are welcome (more than just tolerated). Great fish and chips take away right next door.

    The room and bathroom were really clean and comfortable. We enjoyed a drink in the bar after an evening out and we both had a good nights sleep in the large bed. We liked the old building with it's beams and character. It is a very picturesque location with some geese on the green. There was a pub and small local shop.

    Beautiful location, lovely staff, and amazing breakfast. The room was a good size for a family of 4. Had room for us to set up our own portacot and a huge bath. The golf course is stunning and peaceful.

    It was a lovely 16th century Tudor building looking out on the village green. Our room was in the new building it was very clean and spacious with a huge comfortable bed.. the room looked out onto a lovely garden it was also peacefully quiet..the hotel was spotlessly clean throughout..

    The room was comfortable and clean. Nice location in the heart of Sedlescombe village. Staff friendly. There was a problem with the room on the first night but this was dealt with swiftly and professionally.

    Food was excellent, location was ideal in a lovely village and the staff were very friendly. The room we stayed in could do with redecoration and as it had low ceilings unable to stand under the shower but not a problem.
