The host Ayo hospitality was exceptional and highly accomodating. Excellent room, refurbished to a high standard. Dinner was on Saturday night at the bar. Superb food, good value for what it was, well served in a vibrant atmosphere. Breakfast was served in a glass walled extension to the old building, by numerous staff and chosen from a varied menu and cooked to perfection.

I don’t even know where to start with this property….as good as this space looks in the picture it doesn’t do it justice, it’s an absolutely stunning room set up with everything you’d need for a short getaway, Hazel is by a million miles the most welcoming, happy and energetic host I’ve ever stayed with, very much made welcome e.     Ayo was extremely pleasant, he made me feel very welcome in his home. Any help I needed, he didn’t hesitate to help. The house was spotless and a great location to Tilbury Port. There was also parking.
