One of the best places I visited in whole Africa (!). Amazing beach, clean, very little tourists, wonderful family who helps You with everything from preparing great meals to organizing laundry or any logistics. Recharged my batteries and got well deserved rest.

Everything was on point. The Host was very pleasant and accommodating, the apartment was surprisingly hugh, clean, decor tastefully done very modern. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Quiet neighborhood serene environment Breakfast was simple and nice. I traveled with my family and the children had lots to entertain them. There was a swing set and ping pong table for them to play. Which they did. Swing needs updating but it was fine. Overall I would highly recommend for a small family vacation.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Joy Beach Lodge located along Beach Road in Takoradi, and I must say it was an enjoyable experience. The lodge offers a perfect blend of comfort and serenity, with a beautiful sea view that truly enhances the stay. The air-conditioned room I stayed in was spacious and well-maintained, providing a welcome respite from the warm coastal climate. The breeze from the sea combined with the cool air conditioning made for a relaxing atmosphere. The lodge’s location right by the beach is definitely one of its highlights, offering easy access to the sand and surf whenever you want to take a walk or just enjoy the views. The staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring I felt comfortable throughout my stay. Whether it was for information on local attractions or assisting with any needs, they were always ready to help. The only downside was that the Wi-Fi could have been a bit stronger in some areas, but overall, my experience was positive. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with a fantastic view of the ocean, Joy Beach Lodge is a solid choice. Would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Takoradi!

This serene property truly stands out as one of the best accommodations in Busua at the moment. While the short route to the lodge may seem a bit unusual initially, it quickly becomes familiar, and living among the locals adds a unique and authentic touch to the experience. The property is just a few minutes' walk from the beach, offering the perfect blend of tranquility and accessibility. They thoughtfully provided a kettle for breakfast, and laundry services are available for a fee. The room itself was very well-equipped, featuring a reliable air conditioner, a fan, a TV and a water heater in the bathroom.
