Everything was better than expected. Wonderful place with nice pool above the best beach in Bali. Very kind owner. Comfortable room with incredible view. For the comfort, price, view and kind staff this is the only place I would atay in Bali which I have come back to for 3 years. Next to the hotel is a restaurant that locals recommend. And 2 mini markets up the street for drinks or suplies. We got coffee packets for breakfast instead to taking good breakfast for early breakfast. Kind owner took our heavy luggage up to our room and back down to parking lot for taxi pickup. Highly recommend for view, pool, location, kind owner and price

The staff was very friendly and helpful all over the resort It is a great place for children, the water park was amazing. It suits all ages. And there are many activities for children at the resort. The pools are great and the food was excellent. And a nice Private Beach.

We loved everything about this villa! The location, the views, the beautiful pool and braai area. The attention to detail providing us with everything we need for our holiday - pool towels, sun beds and umbrellas to take to the beach. The layout and furnishing is perfect. So many choices for outdoor seating. A very beautiful villa.

Our host Dimitra was absolutely amazing, very thoughtful and accomodating. She greeted us up on our arrival with everything ready for the next morning breakfast and pastries and a local bottle of wine:). The house was very clean, equipped with everything we needed and Dimitra offered to clean the house half way through our stay. She even gave us some Cretan souvenirs, very kind and thoughtful. Dimitra has been by far one of the best hosts we have encountered during our travels. The house was close to the town centre, 5 minutes drive, yet remote enough to enjoy the most needed piece and quiet. If you don't have a car, there is a local 'train' within 3 minutes walk from the house, that can take you all around Bali village. The property is a good fit for a family, two adults and two children. Having a little terrace where you can have your coffee in the morning or a glass of wine or a cold drink and local fruits after a very busy and hot day was a real plus. We had an amazing stay at Casa Marel and we would to stay there again in the future :)
